Written by eight representative medieval interpreters between the ninth and fourteenth centuries, these commentaries have never been translated into English before. Ian Christopher Levy teaches theology at Providence College. He is also editor of A Companion to John Wyclif and coeditor (with Gary Macy and Kristen van Ausdall) of The Eucharist in the Middle Ages.
Philip D. W. Krey is president and professor of church history at Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia.
