Author Biography

Tricia Johnson and Misty Dollard are the cofounders of Ignite Worldwide Ministry, a teaching ministry designed to make the Bible's theology accessible to everyday believers. Ignite sparks spiritual growth that creates excitement for God and His Word, helping disciples of Jesus "go on to maturity" (Hebrews 6:1).

Tricia has been a Bible teacher and speaker for over ten years in settings of all kinds and sizes, from moms' groups and church Bible studies to retreats, conferences, and more. With an eye for the easily overlooked but important details in God's Word, and with a passion for connecting the Old Testament to practical New Testament living, Tricia teaches today at Willow Creek Community Church. She received her BS in history from the University of Northern Iowa. Tricia and Mike, her husband of twenty years, live in Crystal Lake, Illinois, and are the parents of four children.

An outdoors enthusiast, Misty loves hiking and riding motorcycles with Tyler, her husband of ten years. She and Tyler live in Seattle, Washington, with their daughter.
