This investigation netted the author at least 108 alleged specimens of Shakespeare's handwriting. Out of this mass of material, the author has selected six of the poet's unquestioned signatures, a disputed signature in a first English edition of Montaigne's Essays and three pages in the manuscript play of Sir Thomas Moore.This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
