She is the author of Rice from Heaven: the Secret Mission to Feed North Koreans, Let's Learn Korean! and Korean Picture Dictionary, among others. She has studied and taught in the US. She lives in Korea with her husband and children.
Farida Zaman is an award-winning multimedia artist producing illustration for magazines, wrapping paper, greeting cards, billboards and books. She is the illustrator of My First Book of Hindi Words.
