Author Biography

David Rabb, MA, LICSW, ACSW has been a clinical social worker for 27 years. At the age of 17, he joined the United States Marine Corps and served four years in the infantry earning the rank of Sergeant. David is currently a Colonel in the United States Army Reserves having served 23 years. He has commanded a Combat Stress Company in Iraq and is the recipient of the Bronze Star Medal. Since 1983, David has worked as a civilian for the Veterans Health Administration. He has worked with WWI, WWII, Korean Era, Viet Nam Era, Peace Time Era, Persian Gulf, Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, and Operation New Dawn Veterans. David is a graduate of Illinois State University and the University of Chicago. He is married to Kim Rabb and has six children: Jonathan, Zora, Leietta, Alyse, Mandy, and Zach. He has a home in Minneapolis, Minnesota and Mountain View, California. David enjoys listening to jazz music, taking long hikes, traveling, and spending time with his family.
