Elizabeth C. Pomeroy (PhD, University of Texas at Austin; LCSW) is professor at University of Texas at Austin and co-director of the Institute for Grief, Loss and Family Survival. She is the editor-in-chief of Social Work, the official professional journal of the National Association of Social Workers. She has previously co-authored two books, The Clinical Assessment Workbook and The Grief Assessment and Intervention Workbook: A Strengths-Based Perspective.
Renée Bradford Garcia (LCSW; MSW, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor) is a clinical social worker in private practice and a practice affiliate with the Institute for Grief, Loss, and Family Survival. Her career as a social worker includes extensive experience with palliative care, bereavement, loss, and life transitions.
