Dr. J. Thomas Lamont has treated thousands of C. diff patients over the past three decades and has conducted ground-breaking research on the C. diff bacterium and its associated toxins. He is a professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School and served as the Gastroenterology Division Chief at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston from 1996 to 2012. He is also an associate editor of GI and liver diseases for the New England Journal Of Medicine.
