By Dixon's side fought the young 'Bat Masterson' soon to be known as another figure of fame on the frontier. After Abode Walls Dixon's involvement with Miles' expedition brought him to yet another heroic fight with hostile Indians in the 'Buffalo Wallow Fight'.
