These have been included because general knowledge questions are included in selection processes and the possession of such useful information contributes to a candidate's success. The answers are also provided. Part 3 provides ample worksheets about various aspects of everyday life. Each worksheet provides an alphabetical list of useful words related to a particular subject. There are blank spaces for more words to be added. Appendices 10A and 10B are useful templates for writing new categories of words. Part 4 provides clarity on words that are often misspelt and misused. It has explanations and examples of confusable words, homographs, homonyms and homophones. There is also a comprehensive exercise to be completed. Part 5 has some valuable reference materials and includes information on the days of the week, months of the year, seasons, colours, spelling of numbers, a list of the names of animals, expressions of time, a list of countries, the names of their respective capital cities, citizens, currencies and languages, roman numerals and a list of prefixes and suffixes.
