But how can Annette, a mere sophomore, compete with all the more mature juniors and senior girls at Ravensville High who consider Tim a heart throb? As the Valentines Dance gets closer and she still hasn't asked Pete, another controversy erupts in the county as livestock rustlers steal animals from people she knows. Ann Carol Ulrich started writing about Annette Vetter when she was 15, growing up in the '60s. The Ground Hog Mystery is the sixth in her Annette Vetter series. A native of Wisconsin, she has lived in many states but prefers Colorado, where she is currently at home in Cedaredge. She also writes under the name Ann Ulrich Miller with her favorite genre Romantic Suspense.
