Title
The Birth of Terrorism in Middle East: Muhammed Bin Abed al-Wahab, Wahabism, and the Alliance with the ibn Saud Tribe - Paperback
by Muhammad Ne Al-Semawi (Author)
Is a comprehensive analytical study of the life of the founder of the Wahhabi movement and his political exploitation of religion. It addresses his life journey and the social climate in which he launched a mission that would serve as an inspiration for terrorism. The author argues that present-day Wahhabism has fueled extremist movements such as al-Qaeda, the Taliban, and sleeper cells that aim to create division between countries and their citizens in an attempt at achieving global dominance. This book is a warning of a looming conventional war that is, in part, due to the limited cultural awareness of Western authorities.

Born in Iraq, he studied English Literature and graduated from the University of Baghdad in 1966. Thereafter, he directed his efforts towards Islamic history, Arab heritage, and social work, and he is particularly interested in Islamic movements. He has a detailed nine-volume work about the beginning of Islam and the first period of the Umayyad rule entitled Mawsuat Al-Thawrah Al-Husayniyyah ("The Encyclopedia of the Revolution of Husayn"). He also has several publications and studies in history, politics, and literature. He has participated in seminars, conferences, and inaugurations in Iraq and other Arab countries, as well as in Europe and the United States.
