Patrick Foye, M.D., is an international expert and pioneer in treating tailbone pain (coccyx pain). He is Founder and Medical Director of the Tailbone Pain Center at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. Dr. Foye is a renowned physician, a Professor, a clinical researcher, and an award-winning medical educator. Patients with tailbone pain visit him from around the world. MORE DETAILS: Dr. Patrick Foye earned a bachelor's degree in biology and chemistry from Drew University. He then earned his M.D. from New Jersey Medical School in 1992. Dr. Foye did his internship in internal medicine at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, N.J., where he was named "Intern of the Year" and "Most Compassionate Resident." He did his residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) at Northwestern University's prestigious Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, where he was Chief Resident. At Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, Dr. Foye has been inducted into the Masters Educators Guild, and has received the university's Excellence in Teaching Award.
