Author Biography

Carole J. Hyder has accomplished success as a Feng Shui consultant, speaker, teacher, author, and trainer. She has been a Feng Shui consultant since 1992, having studied with Professor Thomas Lin Yun and Roger Green, both master teachers in their respective philosophies of Feng Shui. She has facilitated hundreds of residential and commercial consultations in both traditions. She is co-founder and president of the Feng Shui Institute of the Midwest, an organization dedicated to creating standards for practitioners, providing continuing education and community outreach. Carole has published two books besides "Conversations with Your Home" --- "Wind and Water: Your Personal Feng Shui Journey" and "Living Feng Shui: Personal Stories." She has produced two DVDs as well: "The Science of Feng Shui: How and Why Feng Shui Works" and "Listening to Your Language." Additionally, Carole is the founder and lead faculty of the award-winning Wind & Water School of Feng Shui, established in 1998. Over 300 students have gone through her program, which is now licensed by the Minnesota Office of Higher Education. Carole appears monthly on KARE-11's Showcase Minnesota TV show presenting various Feng Shui topics. In December 2006, she completed a graduate degree from the University of Minnesota in East Asian Studies.
