She has received national recognition for her excellence in teaching and has held various leadership roles with the Online Learning Consortium and the EDUCAUSE Learning Initiative. Michelle is currently Faculty Mentor, Digital Innovation for the California Community College system, supporting the CCC Online Education Initiative and @ONE (Online Network of Educators).
