His "Missing" trilogy, of which this is the first book, also contains SHAKESPEARE IS MISSING and JESUS IS MISSING. Additionally he has written a young adult novel, THE CAVE AT DEVILS ELBOW, and THE MAJESTIC ACROSTIC, a light-hearted treatise on the solving of acrostic puzzles. He and his cat, Andy, live in Santa Monica, California.
