About the Author
Shaikh Abdullah Ibn Al-Shaikh Abdul Muhammad Ibn Abdul Wahab was a distinguished Islamic scholar and the son of the great reformer and theologian Shaikh Muhammad Ibn Abdul Wahab, the founder of the 18th-century Islamic revival movement in the Arabian Peninsula. Deeply rooted in the legacy of his father’s scholarship, Shaikh Abdullah continued his father's mission of teaching, writing, and preserving the authentic teachings of Islam, based on the Qur’an and Sunnah.
As a learned jurist and theologian, Shaikh Abdullah dedicated his life to clarifying Islamic belief (‘aqīdah) and promoting moral and spiritual reform in accordance with the principles of early Islam. His writings reflect both deep erudition and a commitment to guiding the Muslim community toward faith, justice, and social responsibility.
Among his notable contributions is his celebrated two-volume Biography of the Prophet, a detailed and faithful account of the life of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Through this work and others, Shaikh Abdullah helped ensure that the message of the Prophet and the reformist teachings of his family would continue to inspire future generations across the Muslim world.
